MRS. ELLA CLEMENTS.
Died, at her home near Lyons, at 5 o'clock Thursday morning, December 1, 1892, Ella, wife of Frank E. Clements, aged 24 years, of puerperal convulsions.
Mrs. Clements was the only daughter of Peter and Sarah Wood, and was a young woman of worth and integrity, beloved by all who knew her.A little less than a year ago -- on December 31, 1891 -- she was united in holy wedlock to Frank E. Clements, and hand-in-hand the young couple started upon the journey of life, with bright prospects and brighter anticipations. It is with inexpressible sadness that we record her death to-day.God in his infinite wisdom has called her away from earth and friends. The affliction may seem greater than we can bear, but in this hour of trouble let us turn to a loving savior for consolation and support. She was of a loving disposition, kind and true, and we know that she will receive her reward in heaven.Let us so live that we may meet her there where the pain of parting is not known. That God will comfort the young husband and friends in this hour of great bereavement is the prayer of many friends. The motherless babe [dau. Sarah Clements] yet lives, though it is not known how soon the light of its tender young life may go out.Should it live there are friends to watch over it and care for it, cherishing it as a token of remembrance from the dear departed.
As we close our forms at 3:30 p.m., the preparations for the funeral are being made and it is announced that the services will be held at the M. E. church on Saturday at 2 p.m.
