Notes for NEWTON ALEXANDER WHITE:
Newton died in an ascendent while he and a son Levi were carrying a load of pigs to Aragon . One of the hogs was trying to jump out of the back of the truck. Newton step out on the running board and tried to poke the hog with a stick to prevent him from jumping out. A few weeks before this time he had sprang his ankle on a hunting trip. It was thought this week foot gave way, as he lost his balance on the running board and fell on the pavement badly fracturing his skull. He died later in the Rome hospital.

They moved to Rockmart, Ga. about 1919 from Rydal, Ga.
