Ethel,13 and Lizzie, 14 are living with them, but Lillie is not listed. In this census George is listed as a helper in the cotton mill and the two girls as spinners. He signed his grandson,Thomas Waston Argo, birth cert. showing he was wittness to the birth on July 4, 1916 in Heard County,Ga. It gives his residents as being Newnan, Ga.

George Argo Dies Here Tuesday
George W. Argo, 81, one of the oldest and most dependable employees of Newnan Cotton Mills, died early Tuesday morning following a lengthy illness. A native of Carroll County, Mr. Argo came to Newnan in 1898 and became connected with the No. One Mill of Newnan Cotton Mills and had been employed by the concern continuously since that time with the exception of two years when he returned to his native county of Carroll to engage in farning. He became connected with the No. Two Mill in East Newnan when it was built in 1906 and remained with it until he was retired by the company about two years ago. Mr. Argo is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Hembree, College Park; Mrs. George Green, Hoganville and Mrs. Ethel Lewis, Newnan. Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning from Old Camp Ground Methodist Church, in Carroll County, with the Rev. J.O. Withrow and the Rev. J.C. Adams officiating. Interment was in the church yard with J.H. McKoon and Son in charge of arrangements.
