| James Gordon Winkler Alexandria,VA 22315-4119 703-971-6377 | My Grandfather was Joseph Edward Winkler, born in Freeburg, St. Clair County, Illinois in 1861.His parents were Nicholas Winkler and Magdalena Thomas.Joseph's siblings were: George, John, Cornelius, Mary, Elizabeth, Adam and Phillip.He married Amelia Marie Haurin.I would like to find out who John married and when he died. My grandmother, Amelia Marie Haurin, was the daughter of Georg Friedrich Haurin and Elizabeth Hoffmann.She was born in O'Fallon, St. Clair County, Illinois in 1872.Her siblings were: Maria, Johannes, Frederick, Georg, Anna, Mary, Louisa, Kate and Otilde.(Maria, Johannes and Georg died before their 2nd birthday.)I would like to find out about Amelia's mother's parents.They were Adam Hoffman and Elizabeth Hartman (I think). |
