The Rainwaters of Carrollton, Texas

The research for the Rainwater family came primarily from personal interviews with my grandmother, Delia Rainwater Newman, her brothers and sisters and various other relatives.From conversations with my grandmother, I believe the family may have originated in Tennessee and moved on to Dallas County, Tx.Our family reunion is held every two years in alternating locations, Dallas or Lubbock, Texas.The next reunion is tentatively scheduled for July 2002 in Dallas, Texas.
