| Ron & GailWinter RR#3 Petrolia,Ontario N0N 1R0 519-845-3623 | We are searching the Winter / Bath families in England; looking for the family of George Winter and his wife Ann (Bath) who came to the Toronto area in l820 with three or four children.Also we would like to find the family of George Winter's mother which we believe is a family named Orpeth.Our grandfather maintained he was from Northumberland County in England.Others in other branches of the family believe our ancestors hailed from Hamble in Hampshire County, England.Our George Winter was born August 26, l787.Ann Bath was born January 6, l793.We have a copy of their marriage certificate which says they were married in the Parish of Portsea in the County of Southampton on January 9, l8l3.Any help with this search would certainly be appreciated. |
