Notes for James Thomas Heflin: J. Thomas Heflin, 77, farmer, died at his home in the St. Bethlehem community Monday afternoon after a four months illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock at Oakland Church of Christ. and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Heflin was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and was born Jan. 8, 1868, the son of James Heflin and Mary Kissener Heflin. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rachel Marvin Heflin to whom he was married in 1883, and four sons, George W. Heflin, Joel T. Heflin, J. Richard Heflin, and Oscar Heflin, and a daughter, Mrs. Kate Sensing, all of Montgomery County.
