| We are researching the Jim Banks family. The Banks family originated in the Monroe, LA area. Some known related surnames are Brantley, Tolliver and Bynum. We also are researching the Ashley family. The Ashley family originated in the Montgomery, AL area later branching off into Birmingham, AL (Mason City/Ishkooda). Some known related surnames are Jackson, Davis and Arrington.
