I am building the family tree of the descendants of William Wiseman and Sarah Breach. I have recently confirmed that the young couple came on the first migrant ship to Adelaide, The Coramandel. Two marriages took place on the 18th September between John Steer and Jane Ann Bryant, and William Wiseman and Sarah Breach. They settled in Adelaide and had a number of children. The last record of William Wiseman in England was that he lived at Sutton Grange. William was bricklayer. I suspect that this is the place where William worked, possibly building the estate buildings. Two of the sons, William John and Joseph Breach, moved to Victoria and married sisters (Rose Anne Hope/Sarah Allace Hope) from Moonambel.
The families mainly resided in the Avoca, St. Arnaud, Dunolly areas of Victoria - many descendants can still be traced to these locations.
I also suspect that Williams parents names were John and Mary. I am unable to track where they came from due to the multitude of William Wiseman's. If you have any information, please contact me.
