I have just reciently started to research my family tree I have very little infomation about the Markels, through family members I have been told that my great granfather Vernon C Markel was from cherokee he was born aug.7,1888 he resided in westover P.A. he married Sylvia Mock his second wife was Minnie unsure of her last name he died in dec.1973 in addition to researching the Plummers I have traced to my gr. gr. gr. grandfather John Plummer he was born april 17,1810 in summerhill township Pennsylvania he married Magdalena "Mary" Fye in 1833 his second wife was Sarah Reinhardt if anyone has information on him please contact me.. |
