Miss Josephine Witz, eighty-four, of 206 Hillside Avenue, died yesterday afternoon at 12:30 o’clock at her home after a short illness of heart disease. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Miss Witz was born in New York City and lived there until 30 years ago when she came to Mount Vernon to make her home. She was a member of Church of Sacred Heart. Respects may be paid at the William F. Thompson Mortuary, 11 Fourteenth Avenue, until tomorrow morning at 9:30 o’clock. At 10 o’clock a requiem mass will be celebrated at Church of the Sacred Heart. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Newtown, Long Island.
