This is the headstone of the Witz family in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, Queens, NY. This plot (Section 3: Ave 14, Plot I, Graves 7-10) was purchased by my great-great grandfather (Frederick Witz) on Nov 13, 1876, who is buried here with his wife, (Mary M. Witz), daughter (Josephine) and son? (Anthony?). Also buried here are my grandfather (Adolph Witz) and his wife (Annie Marie Dolphin Witz), their daughter (Josephine), their son (Walter), and two infants: Catherine Gruenthal - (10 days old; probably Helen & Frank's daughter); and Frederick Witz (3 days old - parents unknown)
