This is the tombstone of my maternal, great-grandfather, Charles Booth Hamilton, and his wife, Martha Robinson Hamilton Catts @ St. Paul's Church, Mount Vernon, NY (A National Monument). Charles died at age 39 of heart disease when my grandfather, William Devoe Hamilton, was just 4 years old. Martha remarried to Mason Catts and had 2 children, including my great aunt Kit.
