| Currently researching these families: ANTONIN VOKAL and ANNA ??. They are the parents of my Great Grandfather Vincenc Vokal. VINCENC "VENCASLAVS" "VINCNE" VOKAL (b. 8DEC1864 in Bohemia, d. 23JUN1939 and ANNA POLENSKY (b. 18MAY1871 in Czechoslovakia, d. 19MAY1948, daughter of WENZEL POLENSKY and ?? HIBL OR HIBEL). They came to America on September 10, 1908 aboard the SS Patrica (Hamburg-America Line). With them, they brought their children: JOSEPH, FRANK, ALBINA, KATIE, VINCENT, MARY, LILLIAN, THERESA, and WILLIAM (b. 24DEC1906). After they were settled in Belfield, ND, they had two more children: VICTOR and HARRIET "HATTIE". The youngest three children had their names changed from 'Vokal' to 'Wokal' by school teachers trying to "fix" the pronunciation. VALENTIN WANDLER (b. 1760 in Holschloch, Alsace, Germany, d. in Rastadt, Russia) and MAGDALENA ?? (b. 1776 in Holschloch, Germany, d. in Rastadt, Russia). They had five children (that I know of): LORENZ WANDLER, CHRISTINA WANDLER, KARL WANDLER, MARTIN WANDLER, and JOSEPH WANDLER. JOSEPH WANDLER (b. 1804) and MARIAN IMMEL. They had two children (that I know of): ANTON WANDLER (b. 19JUN1855 in Rastadt, Russia) and ROSE WANDLER. Anton Wandler came to America on May 12, 1898, on the SS. Lahn. JOHANN FISCHER (b. 1776 in Rhinepalatine, Germany) and MARGARETHA PAUL. Johann and his first wife MARIAN ?? had three children: ADAM FISCHER (b. 1793), ANDREAS FISCHER (b. 1798), and DANIEL FISCHER (b. 1800). Johann and Margaretha had three children also: BARBARA FISCHER (b. 1801), SEBASTIAN FISCHER, and MARGARETHE FISCHER (b. 1809). SEBASTIAN FISCHER (b. unk in Hoerdt, Germany) and ANNA MARY EBERTS. They had four children: MAGDALENA FISCHER (b. 10/29/1858), JULIA FISCHER (b. 10/1/1867), ANDREW FISCHER (b. 12/6/1869), and JOHN B. FISCHER (b. 1872). MATHIOUS OBRITSCHKEWITSCH and KATHERINE LANNARD. They had two children: FRANK OBRITSCHKEWITSCH (b. 10/8/1858 in Rastadt, Russia, d. 4/1/1926 in Dickinson, ND) and ELIZABETH OBRITSCHKEWITSCH (b. 4/5/1860 in Rastadt, Russia). MATHIOUS and another woman, ANNA MARIA STICKA, had a son named JOSEPH OBRIGEWITSCH (b. 8/8/1846). ANDREW SCHAEFER and SALMA NOLLBAUM. They had one child that I am aware of: ANNA MARIE "MARY" SCHAEFER (b. 2/2/1860 in Muenchen, Russia, d. 1928 in Dickinson, ND, m. Frank Obritschkewitsch 11/19/1879). HENRY HABEL (b. 13JUL1820 in Austria, d. 14JUL1892) and his wife Appolonia or La Paloma (b. 30AUG1820 in Austria, d. 26JUN1900 in America). They had about two children: MARY HABEL and GUSTAV HEINRICK HABEL (b. NOV1851 in Bohemia, d. 27JAN1934 in Park Falls Price, Wisconsin). JOHN FLORIAN GLÖECKNER (b. 1812, d. 1874) and his wife Magdaline. They had five children: THERESIA GLÖECKNER (b. 13OCT1847 in Teplitz, Austria, d. 29NOV1915, m. Gustav Heinrick Habel), KARL GLÖECKNER (b. 3MAR1852 in Teplitz, Austria, d. 1927), ANNA GLÖECKNER (b. 28SEP1855, d. 4NOV1929), FANNY GLÖECKNER, and ROSE GLÖECKNER. GUSTAV ZIMMERER and ANNA BAUER (d. Avon, Idaho). They had three children: THERESA JUANITA ZIMMERER (b. 8MAY1888 in Austria, d. 10APR1976 in Vancouver, WA, m. Gustav Frank Habel in 1905 in Wisconsin), ?? ZIMMERER (became a Nun named Sister Mary), and GUSTAV C. ZIMMERER (b. 22MAR1904, d. 29APR1957) WILLIAM A. WARTHEN (b. 1795 in North Carolina, d. 1NOV1875 in Ray Township, Morgan County, IN) and SARAH WADKINS (b. in Tennessee, d. in Martinsville, IN). They had 14 children: LUCINDA WARTHEN, AMANDA WARTHEN, JOHN ALEXANDER WARTHEN, IRA SMITH WARTHEN, FRANKY WARTHEN, MALINDA WARTHEN, WILLIAM SIMPSON WARTHEN, PHOEBE PUCKETT WARTHEN, SUSAN WARTHEN, JAMES J. WARTHEN, SARAH WADKINS WARTHEN, BEDFORD WARTHEN, LAURA WARTHEN, POLLY ANN WARTHEN. JAMES A. HALL (b. abt. MAY1851 in Kentucky, d. aft. MAY8151, in Indiana) and MARY LYNCH.
