Clarence Died at age 21 as a result of a car striking the bicycle he was riding. He was home for a visit from Chance Harbor, NB, where he was working on road construction. On Friday evening he borrowed his brother's bicycle and started for Durham Bridge to get the mail. A short distance from home he was struck by a car coming in the opposite direction. He was carried into his home, where he retained consciousness although his scull was fractured and he sustained other internal injuries. He was operated on in the Fredericton hospital but passed away on Sunday. No charges were laid against the driver of the car.
