INFORMATION ON JOHN TYNER:Sold his land in chowan Co and moved to Johnston.The land he sold was obtained from the will of his father, JOHN HARRIS TYNER OF CHOWAN CO.The land inherited from his father was 100 acres.He sold 20 of these acres to THOMAS HOSKINS. (20 acres on the East side of Country Road.Note that it adjoins Edward Halsey's land .Mary Hoskins Jackson left property to Ann Halsey in her will of 1791 in Chowan Co NC.
Perhaps Ann Halsey married John Hoskins, and had John Hoskins and another Ann Hoskins.
