This chimney is all that remains of the Wolfe homestead built by Lewis WOLFE (VA 1752- KY 1848) ca 1812 near Raven's Creek. The 2 story house was still in use by a descendent of Lewis in 1940. It was still standing in 1980. Next to the chimney is the rubble of the house.
