1. JAMES FELIX1 WILSON was born Abt. 1651, and died 12 December 1712. He married ELIZABETH WILLIS Bet. 1670 - 1672, daughter of JOHN WILLIS.

Notes for JAMES FELIX WILSON:
The Wilson family moved from England to Scotland and then migrated from that country to Virginia about 1650. They first went to Jamestown, but because they arrived after the worst hardships, were over the colonists there refused to allow them to share equally with them, and so he moved down the river and settled in the vicinity of Norfolk, Va.
James was the younger brother of Col. William Wilson of Elizabeth City County, ( Hampton, Va. ) 1646 - 17 june 1713.
James lived for a while at or near Poplar Grove, in what is now Virginia Beach, Va.. He lived on Southern Branch in Norfolk County, Va. from 1672 until his death in 1712.
