Mona Campbell, grand niece of Marie Tedford, writes, "We knew Marie more. She came and stayed with mother (Thelma Muirhead) after they (Maries sisters and brother) died. She was a really beautiful delightful woman. Her skin was like velvet and hardly a wrinkle and she loved major
league baseball she could hardly wait for baseball season. They all had their good minds when they died. Marie was around 97 [when she died] also. She had pneumonia. They still
lived in their own home. A niece, Ruby, lived across the street and looked after them. I think Ruby belonged to their sister Alma who died young."
