3. GEORGIA EDYTH² TEDFORD (JOSEPH RANKIN¹) was born December 12, 1886 in Crawford County, Flatrock, IL, and died March 5, 1973 in Wewoka, Seminole County, OK. She married HOLLIS WILLIAM WRIGHT September 14, 1908 in Crawford County, Flatrock, IL, son of HOLLIS WRIGHT and MAGGIE DAVIS.

One of Edyth Wright's sisters said the family name was "Telford" in England but after immigration to the United States it became "Tedford."

Methodist minister LeRoy Pittman, Flat Rock, Illinois, wrote a letter dated October 18, 1951 to Edith Wright stating the records of the Flat Rock Methodist Church reflected she had been baptized and united with the church in July of 1902 under the Reverend L. L. Porter.

A certificate of Social Insurance Award dated January 2, 1952 issued by the Federal Security Agency, Social Security Administration, Bureau of old-age and survivors insurance, Kansas City, Missouri Area Office 6, Oklahoma City, Field Office 2, wrote a letter to Edith T. Wright, 304 E. 3d Street, Wewoka, Oklahoma dated January 2, 1952, with claim number 443-09-9144-D informing her that she "became entitled to Widow's Insurance Benefits under Title II of the Social Security Act payable monthly at the rate of $24.90, beginning December 1951."

Notes for HOLLIS WILLIAM WRIGHT:
There is conflicting information concerning the date and place of birth of Hollis William "Jack" Wright. Once indication is that he was born on October 28, 1876 in Kings County, Brooklyn, NY. On the other hand there is a petition he submitted to the Masons on September 28, 1915 that states he was born October 18, 1870 in New York. Some family members indicate he has said he was born in New York and Tennessee. A third possible date of birth was given in his obituary as October 28, 1879.

After his mother, Maggie Davis Wright died, his father remarried another woman. We do not know the name of the step mother.

He worked for a railroad. He was injured in an a railroad accident. He had a large scar on one of his shoulders said to have resulted from being scalded by hot water in the accident. He also worked in the oil fields. He moved around a lot. He lived and worked at Cowlington, Keota, Broken Arrow, Wetumpka, Slick City, Walters, Keifer, and Tulsa, OK.

Hollis W. Wright was admitted to the Cushing Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Lodge No. 111, A.F.&A.M in 1916.

His obituary read:

"Funeral services for Hollis William "Jack" Wright, 69, Seminole resident for 21 years who died Thursday, will be at 2:30 P.M. Monday in Chadwick funeral home chapel.

"Rev. Robert S. Scales, pastor of the First Baptist church, will officiate and burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery with Chadwick's in charge.

"Born October 28, 1879."

A certificate of Social Insurance Award dated June 21, 1945 issued by the Federal Security Agency, Social Security Board, Bureau of old-age and survivors insurance, New Orleans, Louisana Area Office 13, Muskogee, Oklahoma Field Office, wrote a letter to Hollis W. Wright, Route 2, box 321, Okemah, Oklahoma dated June 21, 1945, with claim number 443-09-9144-A informing him that he "became entitled to primary insurance benefits under Title II of the Social Security Act payable monthly."
