| We are researching the ANDREW KNUTSEN family from Crescent City, California. Prior to that he lived in Grants Pass, Oregon and before that in the Eugene and Portland areas. He is in the WWI civilian registry for Kootenai County, Idaho. He was born in Arcadia, Trempealeau Co., Wisconsin in December 1879 or 1880. He married Mary (Marie) HENDRICKSON, who was born in Wisconsin on April 23, 1893. It is believed that Andrew's father Knute) was born about 1837 in Norway and immigrated to the US. Other family names in this line may be EDWARDS, HEGGEN, RIMLINGER, GRUBB, DIEHL, McCAMMAN, WINSLOW, HEBBARD, and HANSCOM. We are also researching the George W. PETTY family of Alabama, born March 23, 1880, and his wife, Mattie Lou ROTTON, born December 3, 1887. Other family names in this line are MAY, BROOKS, and WRIGHT.
