13. John Georg³ Rex (George², George¹)⁴⁹⁵ was born in Heidelberg Township, PA⁴⁹⁵, and died Bef. October 26, 1790 in Menallen Twnsp, York Co. PA⁴⁹⁵. He married Anna Maria⁴⁹⁵ Bet. 1770 - 1771⁴⁹⁵. She was born October 22, 1778⁴⁹⁵, and died Unknown.

Johan Georg Rex, second son of Georg and Anna Margaretha (Knaus) Rex, died in Menallen Township, York County, shortly before 26 October 1790 (date of administration). In about 1770 or 1771he married Anna Maria ______ who appeared with him in
the baptismal records of Heidelberg Churc 1771-1782.

At the time of the petition for settlement of his father's estate in 1773, George was living next to his brother Wilhelm on the family homestead in Heidelberg Township. He took the oath of allegiance 19 July 1777 with his two brothers, and
served as an Ensign in Captain Roeder's 5th Company of Heidelberg in the 1st Battalion, Northampton County Militia, beginning in 1777. In the Spring of 1785 George and his family, with his brother Daniel Rex, Felix Arner, and others migrated
to Menallen Township, York (now Adams) County. On 26 October 1790 Daniel Rechs was bonded as administrator of the estate of (his brother) George Rechs of Menallen Township, York County. George's relict, Mary Rex, was head of the family in
York County in the 1790 Federal Census, living next door to her brother-in-law Daniel Rex.
