Alice Powell-Wright's Extensive Family Search Pages

Updated June 21, 2011

I am decended from Samuel Powell, of Wales landing in US in 1860 with a brother and a friend/cousin; and of Nancy Bone, a Chickasaw Indian of Oklahoma. Some surnames are: Rader of Germany, Colorado, California; Lawson, Haws and Jennings of Oklahoma; Clark of Colorado. Some of the Lawson, Haws and Jennings familys are still in the Antlers OK area today (1999).

My husband is decended from Charles Wright and Amelia Peterson of Nebraska. The origin of the Wright's is unknown, Amelia's parents were immigrants from Sweeden arriving before her birth in 1900. He also has other Nebraska relatives: Sternberg's arriving from Germany prior to 1889, Graham's and Morrison's, origins thought to be Kentucky.

Please contact me if you have anything to share. I would be most happy to share the research of my family (25+ years of research) and of my husband's family (14 years of research). All inquiries will be responded to within 2 - 3 days.
