Notes for Paul CUSHMAN: Paul Cushman, fifth child of Joshua Cushman and Mary Soule, was born in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts on Wednesday, June 7, 1745. He removed to Charlestown, Sullivan County, New Hampshire before the Revolution and was the first blacksmith in that town. He went to Canada during the Indian Wars with an expedition to bring back some captives. Paul lived in Littleton, Grafton County, New Hampshire and in Barnet, Caledonia County, Vermont until 1796. Afterwards he lived in Bath, Grafton County, New Hampshire where he died in 1808. Paul married Anna Parker of Charlestown, Sullivan County, New Hampshire. Anna died in Dalton, Coos County, New Hampshire on Sunday, December 22, 1822.
