Notes for Joshua CUSHMAN: Joshua Cushman, sixth child of Robert Cushman and Persis , was born, probably in Kingston, Plymouth County, Massachusetts on Sunday, October 14, 1708. He died in Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts on Sunday, March 25, 1764. Joshua lived for a time (perhaps was born there) in Lebanon, New London County, Connecticut and later settled in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He married Mary Soule of Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts on Friday, January 2, 1733. Mary Soule was a descendant of MAYFLOWER passenger, George Soule and the daughter of Joseph Soule and Mary Peterson (first cousins). Mary was born on Friday, December 6, 1706. Joshua married for a second time to Deborah Ford of Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts on Sunday, March 5, 1752.[family tree maker lap.FTW]
