Robert Cushman, the eldest child of Thomas Cushman and the only child of his first wife, Ruth Howland was born in Plympton, Plymouth County, Massachusetts on Saturday, October 4, 1664. Robert died at Kingston, Plymouth County, Massachusetts on Wednesday, September 7, 1757 in his 93rd year. His first wife and the mother of his children was Persis , who died at Kingston, Plymouth County, Massachusetts on Monday, January 14, 1743. At the age of 80, Robert married his second wife, Prudence Sherman, “a maiden turned 70.”[family tree maker lap.FTW]
