December, 2009 - One of my wife's aunts, Michiko Matsumoto, sent her a letter covering information on her family and including some detail on their time in WWII internment camps. The letter has been transcribed under her name in the notes section.
We have also traced the Drummond side back to Donald Drummond and his wife, both born about 1800 in Scotland and having come to Canada with three of there children about 1830.
Also in Canada, we now have Emily McCombs - of Irish descent - who married Thomas Drummond about 1850.
Regarding the Ott/Dorsey families, while we can trace them back to about 1800 in Jefferson county Virginia (now West Virginia), there is still some mystery as to details. Barney Ott was the son of (possibly)Partick and there seem to have been many other Ott's in the area, I haven't been able to tie them to Barney. His first wife Phebe Dorsey, born in Jefferson Co., VA, and is also a mystery.
