On my father's side of the family, I am researching the Wright family of Beefhide, Kentucky. His father's name was Samuel and his mother's name was Ollie Bentley. They had eleven children, seven boys and four girls. Samuel died in 1936, leaving Ollie with eleven children ranging from ages 17 to 6 months, Lester, Leonard, Yvonne, Sherman, Harry, Larry, Jean, June, Jack (Daniel), Wanda, and Jimmie.

Samuel's parents were Andrew and Nancy Bates Wright in Beefhide in the early 1900s. But have not been able to go back further than that.

I am also researching the Bentleys of Millstone, Kentucky (Ollie's family) and I know that Riley Bentley came into Kentucky as a young man, but from where I do not know. I've been told he came from Virginia, Pennsylvania, or North Carolina. He died at 100 years old in the 1950s.

On my Mother's side of the family, I am research the David Morton Smith and Cammie Forrest Smith families. There were four children, two girls and two boys, Francis Earl, Marion Rivers, Lillian, and Donald Royce. I know that Morton's father came into eastern North Carolina from the Pee Dee area of South Carolina. He married Dolly ?.

I also know that Cammie's family was from Vance, NC. She had a twin and 1 other sister. Her twin's name was Cannie, and their younger sister was Carrie (Caroline). Their mother died and thier father re-married and had other children, but I don't know their names.

The Smith family has a reunion the first Sunday in June every year.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
