Arthur Gilbert Riley (son of ? and ?) was born c. 1861 in Peckham, Surrey, and died Bet. 1940 - 1950 in Whitburn, Co.Durham. He married Mary Selina Beck on Bef. 1891, daughter of Charles Beck and Sophia Knight.

Left his first wife.

His second wife (Mary Riley's mother), inherited a Foundry which he ran until it went bust. He then became a Carrier and also did butchery (killed pigs to order).
