George John Thurtle (b. 16 May 1860, d. 15 Dec 1879)
Notes for George John Thurtle:
Born in Saint Pancras, he followed his father in to the Marquetrie trade. However, in December 1879, just a few months after acting as witness at the wedding of his brother Thomas, he contracted typhoid, probably from contaminated food or water. After an illness lasting 27 days, he developed peritonitis, and died 4 days later, with his father in attendance, at the age of 19.
