Looking for ancestors of John Bowell who came to Canada in 1833 from Rickinghall,Suffolk County, England. He brought his wife Elizabeth Marshall and their four children, Mackenzie, Mahamah, Mary Ann and Warwick. They first settled in the Belleville area of Ontario. Elizabeth died 1834 and John remarried to Ann Mulligan in 1835. Mackenzie Bowell, John's son, was Prime Minister of Canada 1894-6. They had 9 children one of whom was Robert Wright(1860) born Forncett,St Peter,Depwade,Norfolk who married Elizabeth Harfield(Abt 1859). Robert(1860) had three brothers Richard, Charlie and William and five sisters Harriet, Anna, Louise, Alice, & Ada. Robert(1860)came to Canada abt 1906 with his wife Elizabeth and their three sons Albert,Christopher and Arthur. They settled in the east end of Toronto, Ontario. He married Mary Moore(1843) Jan 2 1867 at Castlederg, Magheralogh, County Tyrone, Ireland. They had four children, Samuel, Isabella, Annie and Frederick, They came to Canada on July 9 1880 and settled in Toronto, Ontario.
