Surnames I am researching: Havens, Phillips, June, Hull and Blodgett - Ohio, Iowa, Colorado, Nevada, California.
My Havens family ca 1800's moved from Fall River, Massachusetts to Prairie City, Kansas, to Colorado. Some then moved further north to Madden, Alberta, Canada and became ranchers.
Krebs, Chiminski, Manke` (Manka).
My Krebs family moved from Prussia ca 1860's to Nebraska then by 1895 had moved to Didsbury, Alberta, Canada area. Many are still in the Didsbury area.
My grandparents George Havens and Sarah Anna (Annie) Phillips married and moved to Oregon then back to Canada several times. Finally moving on down into Montana and working on the 'pipe line' which is either the highway or a gas line - haven't figured which yet.
By the early 1940's they were in Anaconda,Montana and stayed there until the mid 1960's before some of them moved to Soldotna, Alaska then back to Coeurd A'Lene, Idaho. Others moved to Washington state and elsewhere in Montana.
