|Our search started in Michigan where most of my relatives are born. We have got as far back as Jacob Wright, born New York, and one of the 13 founding fathers of the City of Zilwaukee, Michigan. He was born June 17, 1825 and he died December 24, 1909, in Bay City (buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Saginaw) (no obituary exists) Do not know who his parents are. He might have had a brother name of William Wright but we are not sure. His first wife, Mary Baker, born New York or Ohio in 1825 and died in 1857; buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Saginaw. His second wife, Caroline Rose, born 1832; died February 15, 1897, in Saginaw, MI. We can trace the Rose family back to about 1594. We have not yet been able to find the parents of Mary Baker.
Jacob and Mary had the following children: Charles, William Baker, Elizabeth Loreen, George, and Mary A.
Jacob and Caroline had the following children: Lucius who married Julia Boshaw in Saginaw, Lincoln Wright who married Edith Jonna Lathrop (my great grand parents), Eliza Algenia Wright who married Alfred H. Glover, John Wright, and Edwin Wright.
We are searching for more information on these relatives. We also are researching the "Davis" name on my grandmother's. We can trace Davis back to about 1764.
We are also related to the Johnson Family in Saginaw who built the first steam saw mill and the Penoyer family.
