THE WRIGHT AND WELLS CONNECTION

WRIGHT RUSSELL WELLS TENNANT BROWN
We are descendants of Thomas & Phoebe Wells, Richard Tennant born 1712 in Glascow, Scotland; William Brown Sr. born in 1632 from England or Scotland; Moses Higginbotham Wright born 1770-1780 in England; and John P. Russell, from North Carolina.

I am currently working on the Wells line of ancestors from Lucretia Ann Wells b. 1848 d. 1879 and David Francis Wells, b. 1883 d. 1940 whose father was Marion Francis Wells, b. 1823 d. 1906, son of Thomas and Phoebe Wells. The Wells' lived in the SW Pennsylvania and NW West Virginia. Marion Francis Wells had two wives, Marie Boor and Sarah Jane Engle.

I would also be interested in acquiring information on Moses Wright and John P. Russell for my husband's family. They lived in Washington County, VA, eastern TN and NC.
