I have been working spasmodically on my family tree, reaching fences and I keep searching for gateways through...
We have come mainly from England and the Isle of Man, agricultural labourers, soldiers, carpenters, drovers, hotel licencees, bakers, confectioners,green grocers,property owners and families brought up in tents, singers and musicians. Our travels to Australia in some cases have been via Germany and Sth America. The main family names are Carpenter, Johnson, Brown, Godden, Liston, Callister and Wilkins. I'd love to hear from anyone who would like to add to my tree.
