I am researching the McCorkle Family from Clay County and Jasper County, Missouri. William Robert Mccorkle b.1876 Jasper County, Mo. d. 1955; his father Robert John McCorkle b.1850 Clay County, Mo. d. ?; his father James Jefferson McCorkle b. 1829 N. Clay County, Mo. d. 7 March 1909; and his father Robert McCorkle b. 1795 Augusta County, VA d. 18 May 1867 in Clay County, MO. Also, I am currently looking for any information on Jess M. Wright b. 1898 Marion County, Mo. d. 1977 and buried in Tecumseh, Nebraska. Jess was married to "Goldie" or Grace who died in 1977 and is buried next to him. These are my paternal grandparents and I have no further information regarding them. any information would be appreciated. I am willing to share the information that I have.
