The Dulwich Watts Family Home PageUpdated September 5, 2000 | |
| I am just starting researching my family history. I am interested in the following:My paternal grandparents: surname WATTS. Charles John Watts was married in Dulwich, London July 1919. My father's mother, whose surname was BALDWIN, died in January 1922 when my father (Kenneth Baldwin) was born. My grandfather taught at Rosendale Road School, West Dulwich in the 1920's and 30's. He trained as a teacher at Goldsmith's College, London 1910 - 1912. My greatgrandparents also lived in the Dulwich area. My greatgrandmother's maiden name was WINGROVE. There were two sons, my grandfather and his younger brother, Alfred. I believe his wife was called May and that they had no children. My Maternal Grandparents: surname MOLE. Earnest John MOLE and Beatrice Daisy Kate KEMPTON were married in Bangalore, India in November 1910. They had four children, Winifred, William, Frederick and Violet, all born in India. The family returned to Berkshire in 1922. My great grandparents - Mr and Mrs John KEMPTON were married in October 1878. I would welcome any information and am happy to share information with others. |
