My name is Vin Wright and this is the Home Page of my Anglo-Irish and Norwegian ancestors. I am deeply indebted to Kenneth Holter of Moss, Østfold, Norway for his generous and unstinting help in unearthing my Norwegian roots. Without his time and effort I would not have made such rapid and accurate progress. I was born in Manchester, England in 1948 but, due to a Military and Diplomatic career, have travelled widely and lived in several locations in the UK and abroad. My wife Denise is also a Mancunian. We are currently resident in Manchester whilst our youngest son Gregory attends Manchester University. Our eldest son, Terence, lives and works in Bristol. Apart from our two sons we have two dogs, Buster & Bess, now ten years old. Both of them are fit and lively characters. |
