My wife, Alice and I live in Abilene, Texas, and I am researching the Wright, Bruyere, Everett, Cadle, and Hamer lines. I am especially interested in securing information regarding Daniel P. Hamer who died November 22, 1926 in Asher, Oklahoma, and was reputed to be a Cherokee Indian who graduated from Tulane University Medical School. My records indicate he was born March 15, 1838 possibly in Alabama. His father was Ammon D. Hamer Who married Charlotte German in Tuscaloosa,AL on August 4, 1836. Any information will be appreciated. |
