Family interest is BARNETT starting with Thomas who was farming at Remenham, Berkshire, England by the 1750. Thomas was born around 1717 and died on December 26, 1803. His family continued to live and farm in the area around Henley-on-Thames (Remenham, Hambleden in Bucks and Shiplake, Harpsden, Dundsden, Rotherfield Greys in Oxfordshire) before moving out and across the world to the US (initially Ohio), Australia (Victoria) and then Canada, South Africa and possibly New Zealand. Associated families: BRANGWIN, DEANE, DREWEATT, HOBBS, NEWBURY, SWALLOW Please visit my web site (link below) for more information about the Barnett part of the family. My site also has links to the Brangwin fmaily newsletter which contains quite a bit of Barnett related information. December 26, 2003 is the 200th anniversary of the death of the first Thomas Barnett traced in my tree. I hope to have my Barnett details updated on my web site prior to that date. If you are related in any way to my Barnetts I would be delighted to hear from you. |
