The Wyatt's of Hockering & Badley Moor, Norfolk

I am researching the Wyatt's of Hockering, Yaxham and Badley Moor Norfolk. Most Wyatt's in this line were born, and lived around Yaxham, a small village about 5 miles from Hockering.

I have a contact in the US whose GGG was Josiah Wyatt born in Scarning, Norfolk (just a couple of miles from Yaxham). Josiah's father was a Robert Wyatt who was born in Yaxham too. I would like to establish if a link exists between our families. Daniel Wyatt was also born in Yaxham just a few years before Robert. They are most likely to be brothers or cousins. Another contact in Australia has an ancestor William born also in Yaxham in 1783. Again, brothers or cousins are the most likely.

Recent parish record research has extended the family line to Hugh Wyatt (born in Yaxham in 1759) and a few more relatives have also been discovered. This work continues.
