The Road from There to Here

This journey started because I knew very little about my great-grandmother, Lillie Nannette Davis. I not only found out what her birth name was, but what a difficult journey she made from birth to death. Although she was faced with many disappointments and obstacles, she perservered and raised her four children alone.
While researching the Davis family, I was led on to other branches of my ancestry and have even jumped to my husband's family tree to discover his roots.
This is an addictive hobby and has no end. It will not stop with me or my children or their children. Somebody will always have that curiosity about those who came before. I hope my research and the research of those who came before me will give them some of that information.
