In the meantime, if there is a specific person or persons you are looking for, please feel free to email me -- I will happily look them up for you and provide whatever information I can. * * * * * * * * * * * * * Welcome to "HOLLINGSWORTH Family Descendants -- Quaker and Non-Quaker." At present, this file contains the information on 32,607 persons who are descended from Valentine HOLLINGSWORTH or who are spouses or relatives of his descendants (10,893 marriages and 4,790 surnames are recorded), and I hope to add many more persons as time goes on. There are 237,038 text records in this file, as well. I am deeply indebted to a great number of kind people who have either given me valuable data from their own files, or who have posted such information onto a variety of excellent web sites. Additionally, I am most grateful for internet organizations such as Family Tree Maker, Family Search, Ancestry.Com, RootsWeb, GenForum, and GenealogyLibrary.com, at all of whose sites I have been able to access tremendous amounts of information. In order to eliminate over a hundred pages of end notes, I have merely summarized my sources in Generation 1 of the file below, "GENEALOGY REPORT: DESCENDANTS OF ROBERT HOLLINGSWORTH." If you would like to have the source for a specific piece of information, please feel free to ask, and I will gladly provide it. I have been able to verify very little of the data presented here, so please do not accept it as valid data -- it is merely a "jumping off point" for your own research! There is much more material out there that I have not yet seen, so please feel free to contact me with additions and corrections. <sdwyatt@themastersnet.com> As you go through the file below, "HOLLINGSWORTH Family Descendants -- Quaker and Non-Quaker", you will notice a great number of persons for whom the note is made, "Additional information available upon request", or something to that effect. Since much of the data in my files has simply been copied "in toto" from other people's research, I do not feel that I have any right to publish it on the net. I will be very happy, however, to send you abstracts of the data, along with the appropriate credits to the authors! I have voluminous amounts of information on many members of the HOLLINGSWORTH family, and I also have the information on many members of their extended family. If you see a collateral line mentioned for which you are seeking additional information, please feel free to ask me about them -- it is highly likely that I have more information on the family in question. The Valentine HOLLINGSWORTH Memorial, Union Cem. (197 KB) In Val's day, Quakers did not erect headstones, so this stone probably does not mark the exact site of Val's burial, but it was erected in his memory by proud and grateful family in 1935.
