| My search is diversified: I have information on my father's family, the Sutton's beginning with Cornelius Sutton in New Jersey in 1750. We have a history OUR FAMILY RECORDS, Joseph Heath Sutton 1810-1889 and Martha (Johnson) Sutton 1819-1896, printed in 1964 with family members from several generations. I am also working on my mother's history, the Blythe family coming to America from Ireland. Henry Blythe and his new bride Sarah E. (Baxter) Blythe were on their way to America when their first son was born in Oct. 1799. We are descended from the third son, Henry Jr.My latest search has been on the Wyatt's from North Carolina. My first husband's great-grandfather Nathan Wyatt walked north after the Civil War and was a pioneer in this part of Ohio. He is one of 6 Confederate soldiers buried in our county, living to old age and achieving many acres of land which he gave to his family. My six Wyatt children are very interested in their ancestry.I will share any information I have and welcome further research. |
