Welcome to our Homepage. Included is much of the information I have accumulated over the years on our families. I still actively do some research however most of this was done 5-15 years ago. Donnette and I were born in the Holland/Zeeland area of Michigan. Both our father's ancestors are 100% Dutch. They came directly to Michigan between 1847 and 1882. Our mother's ancestors however, while having some Dutch in both, are a mixture of German, Scotch, Irish, English and French. Most of the non-Dutch in these reports made their way to Michigan via New York and New England.
Donnette and I are 5th cousins. This was found out 5 years after we were married when I began researching her family. If only somebody would of told us!
I am currently working on a comprehensive report of Births and Marriages of the het Bildt area of Friesland in the late 1700s.
