Your ma’s health is about as usual. My own is gradually growing worse. I have been quite sick this week with an inflammation on my lungs. I am today a little better. Joseph is quite unwell with cold that we do nothing. When you sent for your bed I was not at home. My wife thought that she had no sheets to spare. Consequently sent you a naked bed. If you will get as much cotton sheeting as will make two sheets and a counterpin I will pay you when I see you as I have not the money now to send you. I should have gotten the cloth but having nobody to make it up and believing you would get it cheaper at Columbus thought that the best plan. We are your loving parent.
