Richard Burr Wyse is my father and was born in Wauseon, Ohio, Oct 4, 1921. He carries both paternal family names... Wyse (of French Mennonite origin - Weiss) and Burr (of English origin - De Bures). In the following family genealogy reports it will be explained, as best is known to date, the progress of those lines from their overseas origins to Fulton County Ohio and beyond with the descendants. This is a work in progress and every effort has been made to document information; however, when assumptions are made, it will be so noted. I welcome inquiries which will help others or append this presentation. Grace Burr and Julia Burr circa 1888 (118 KB) Grace Burr, born 1883, and Julia Burr, born 1884, are the 2 surviving children of Elijah Burr and Annie E. Brainard. Mary Ann Wyse Morningstar (64 KB) Mary Ann Wyse Morningstar circa 1930 Caroline and Wilma Wyse circa 1928 (103 KB) Wilma was named after Caroline's mother - Wilhelmina Daniel F Wyse and son Elmer circa 1895 (82 KB) This is the first child born of Daniel F Wyse and Caroline Mockler - they were living in Archbold at this time Grace Burr and Julia Burr circa 1902 (85 KB) Grace Burr and Julia Burr graduated from Wauseon High School in 1901 and 1902, respectively.
