Updike & Kelly in NY

I am new to this. I only have word of mouth, no documents. My uncle did take photos of some tombs in (I believe) Interlaken NY.

My grandfather was Floyd Scott Updike. His parents Winfield Scott Updike and Anna Burdick. Can not find relation to Updikes before him, but Floyd was born in Interlaken. Is he from the Updikes that left NJ and moved to the Finger Lakes Region of NY?
