| I am currently conducting research on the Yates, Baldwin and Peterson branches of our family. My grandfater was Cecil Vern Yates, born in Moray, Kansas. My greatgrandfather was Edward Samuel Yates, born in Nauvoo, (Hancock Co.) Illinois and my great-great grandfather was William Henry Harrison Yates, born in Augusta, Ill in 1841. My Grandmother was Anna Mae Baldwin, born in 1893 in Troy, Ks. My grandfather on my mother's side was Alvin Christopher Peterson, born Feb. 6, 1890 in Greenleaf, Ks. His father Louis Jorgenson Peterson, was born in 1863 in Fodslette, Denmark. Any information you have would be appreciated. I am willing to share what I have, which is quite extensive--especially on the Yates side. |
