The Walker/Parks Search Party

My son,brother,uncle and I are setting out to research our families.We set out to look for WALKER and PARKS.To date we have added DURHAM,BRADY,DEVANEY,BANKSTON,SMITH,HOLLAND,GODBEHERE,FAWN,RUSH and HARRISON to our list.We really have not made alot of progress with our two main names.Our search so far has been concentrated in Rhea and Roane Co.of TN and Franklin Co in NC.We have reason to believe that our WALKER'S may have been located in VA.We lose real solid info around the 1820-1830 period.We have managed to trace a couple of the lines as far back as 1770-1760,one of them to Thomas GODBEHERE who was born in England and came to NC in 1816.We're still looking and enjoying the nice and helpful people we are meeting in doing this!
